Once you’ve gotten eyelid surgery to recontour aging eyelids, the tissues of your eyelids will need to heal and settle into their new positions. The better you follow the rules of your plastic surgeon for post-operative care, the faster your eyelid surgery recovery will go.

Before your eyelid surgery procedure, speak to a friend or a family member to arrange a ride home for after your operation. You will not be able to drive the day of the procedure. After a period of eyelid surgery recovery, you will once again be able to drive, go to work, and resume your other normal activities.
